Kahill's is home to the Best Burger in America!

We've all had great burgers, but have you had the best? South Sioux City is home to the recently named Best Burger in America by Restaurant Hospitality Magazine. Kahill's Chophouse created the “Farm to Table Burger,” the famous burger that is topping the chart.

What makes the Best Burger in America? For this winner, it is topped with Sioux City sarsaparilla braised pork belly and a farm fresh egg, served on a homemade brioche bun. Paired with matchstick fries in a pool of veal demi-glaze. Is your mouth watering yet?

The judges said the following after tasting the "Farm to Table Buger."

“Not only is this a farm to fork sandwich, it's also a knife and fork sandwich. The house bearnaise, the duck egg and the veal demi-glace make this decadent sandwich a beautifully delicious mess. The wagyu had us at hello, but then the pork belly came walking through the door. The result was an irresistible ménage a trois with us in the middle. We're in love.”

Not only is Kahill's home to a celebrity, in the burger sense, it has also made the news for their high usage of local ingredients.

Midwest Producer reported last week after Kahill's had been featured on Iowa Public Television, catching the eye of the IPTV reporter was their attempt at using as much local products as possible, with local beef, shopping at farmers markets, and even growing some of their own on site.
